Kevin W’s Story

I’m 68 years old and in 2018 I was diagnosed with NHL stage 4 grade 2. I went through the treatment and went on to the maintenance program in 2019.  In Jan 2020 I went to the ER for a pain in my side and that’s when they discovered a tumor on my pancreas, which turned out to be 3 metastasized lymph nodes.

At that time I had what is called a Whipple Procedure (they remove a bunch of things), then when I was physically able, I went through 26 days of radiation and chemotherapy. After two PET scans, they determined that there was no sign of pancreatic cancer and that my NHL had gone into remission so I’m back on the maintenance program for 14 months and then whatever the good Lord has for me.
