I was diagnosed at the age of 14 (now 30) with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. For a couple of days, I was coughing up blood and did not tell my parents because I was scared. Eventually, I started showing other signs and my mother took notice. She rushed me to the ER where they did blood work and I was life-flighted to the nearest children’s hospital where there I was diagnosed with cancer. I went through 3 years of Chemotherapy and radiation. I’m very fortunate to be sitting here typing this today and striving to live the best life possible!
