When I was 2 years old I was diagnosed with brain cancer on the right side of my brain. They estimate I was born with it. It was the size of an apricot and it grew tentacles to wrap itself around the brain. They gave me only 6 months to live but my mom didn’t give up hope. she found a doctor who came up with a surgery to get the tumor out. Because of where it was located, the removal paralyzed my left wrist down and left ankle down. I’m now 21, still living and doing my best to adapt to my situation.
