Hello…my name is Eric and I’ve been encouraged (more than once) to share my story…so, here goes (I’ll try to keep it short…lol). In 2018 I was experiencing problems eating and went to see my VA PCP who then referred me to a specialist for an EGD. The EGD showed a tumor in my esophagus. Low and behold…stage lV esophageal cancer. The cancer then spread to my brain in 2019. I’ve been through it all….chemo, surgery, and radiation. But I’m still here and can’t explain why, but keeping a positive mental attitude has helped me fight this disease. ALWAYS choose hope!
