One of our church members was recently diagnosed with acute lukemia and we bought these as a fundraiser and as a prayer reminder. The church loved them and now the majority of the church is walking around with orange wristbands that show a sign of unity in our member's fight against cancer. Great product!

May 18, 2014Dear Santa,
I am asking you to bring some understanding and enlightenment to people I encounter.
I have been getting cancer treatments for a little over a year and I am finding certain comments hurtful and dismissive. When asked how I am doing I usually answer ‘fine, but tired’. I am met with responses of “why do you think you are so tired?” and other responses of “you’ll be fine”, “just stay positive” and “you know they are putting poison in you”. I believe these people mean well and don’t know what to say, but it leaves me feeling discounted. I am no drama queen but feel these comments are insensitive and not supportive.
A more appropriate, supportive response to someone going through a challenging medical time would be “I hope the treatment is successful, wishing you the best outcome” or “I am sure you must get tired, I bet those naps help.”
Don’t barrage someone with texts and phone calls after an appointment, you don’t know how fatiguing or what happened in that appointment. And please don’t ask if you can “share” the medical information with others. It feels like a gossip channel not a support system.
Anyway I hope this letter can be used to enlighten the support system of anyone going through a medical crisis. What to Say and What Not to Say to Someone Newly Diagnosed with CancerJoan S., Massachusetts
December 25, 2019We ordered these ribbons for our wedding day as a way to remember the father of the groom who passed away from Mesothelioma on 2/4/2011. While Joe was there in spirit, it is wonderful that he made it into every picture as well. The ribbons were beautiful and stayed on through all the pictures and dancing! What is even better is that a portion of the sale goes to cancer research. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

I ordered the car magnet because I wanted to bring attention to the public about the specific kind of cancer I have (lymphoma), and maybe, just maybe it would help draw some much needed donations towards lymphoma research. I am quite amazed at the number of people who have never heard of lymphoma. The type of lymphoma I have is considered not curable, however I hear they are on the verge of finding a cure very soon. I hang onto that hope everyday and I will do anything I can to help push that effort along.

November 14, 2014I got a bunch of these wristbands and the adult is too big for me. I wanted to give them to a whole lot of my friends and their kids. The kid sized ones don't really fit kids but fit me well.

May 6, 2013I got this T-Shirt for my husband who has 2 types of Lymphoma. Our daughter had the same T-shirt when she had Rhabdomyosarcoma. She died 11 years ago and loved the shirt. So I thought my hubby would like it. She also loved her Cancer Sucks T-Shirt but he would not wear it.

I want to thank you for this page. I needed to make the call and had a feeling of how I might phrase it. Reading this verified my feeling and I am so happy I found this page. It is my sister's "significant other", I have known him since they were in high school and I could not be silent. Thank you again. I will refer to this page in the coming months.

December 25, 2018Received these today. I bought these for the "No One Fights Alone" slogan because it's the truth. I will be giving them out to the nurses and staff at my treatment center and to other cancer / chemo patient. Giving therm to staff personnel to show appreciation for helping me fight this battle because they work in one of the toughest fields of medicine there is and to the other chemo patients so they have a reminder of how many people are fighting with and for them whether they are paid to do it or if it is their family and support group.

I was very impressed with the quality of this bracelet and was glad that the poem is printed on the packaging a it is so small on the bracelet itself that you can't read it without a magnifying glass. These are light weight and durable. It is a nice change rom all the silicone bracelets around.

I ordered 36 of your "no one fights alone" necklaces with the lime green charms to support my 2 1/2 year old cousin who is fight large cell anaplastic lymphoma. My chain had tarnished so I put the charm and the ribbon on a different chain. The little ring on the charm must have been open a little because the charm slipped off but the ribbon stayed on. We all love the necklaces and I was very disappointed when I lost the charm. Would there be a way to get a replacement charm?

I was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer in August, 2018. I started chemo in September, had surgery in November of that year and more chemo treatments. After thirteen rounds of different and same chemo infusion over the last five years, I still have cancerous tumors on my lymph nodes. I am still on chemo treatment with the hope that this one works but my cancer tumors are very stubborn.
