April 16, 2018My cancer is rectal, so it's nice to have a ribbon hat that isn't a pink ribbon, but one that reflects my cancer color (dark blue). I just wish I'd known that it doesn't sit low on the head. Hopefully it won't blow away in windy Florida.

We previously had a wrist band with different words. We liked this one better- because everyone who cares about someone with cancer fights with them, especially the primary caregiver.

March 13, 2012I thought the bracelet was beautiful. My mom really liked it too. The only thing that I got worried about it the clasp on it, it comes un done really quickly. Also the bracelet could be a litle be quality cause I feel that it could brake easily.

October 28, 2012I first found out about this sight just checking around to find out what my niece's childhood brain cancer ribbon colors were. Being a cancer survivor (10+ years) myself gave me some motivation. I found the survivor pins and the the fact that some of the cost went to cancer research to hard to resist. I got my niece her pin (overwhelmed to find it is all gold!), I got one for myself and one for a work colleague who is a survivor. Then I started thinking: I know several people who I work with that have had cancer. Why not get them a ribbon pin? So I sent out an email to coworkers. In a high school with about 130 teachers, staff and support people, we had 8 who are survivors, two of whom are currently being treated, but come to work daily except for chemo days. We have two people who have relatives (a young son to one and my niece) who are survivors. I got them all ribbon pins, including a former student who student taught last year.
We have eight in the building and three either relatives or former students who are survivors. We also have several current or recently graduated students who are survivors. I intend to get them ribbon pins also.
That's a lot of people in a fairly small school. I figure why not give some money to support research and at the same time "choose hope" for those I know.
I am quite proud to be a 10+ years survivor. And I think my project gave an uplift to my friends at work. Every one of them pinned it on and wears it daily.
It is not what you say that makes a difference, it is what you do, no matter how small it seems.Cancer Survivor Ribbon PinCustomer in Overland Park KS

I ordered the zebra ribbon, because I wanted to spread awareness for it. As I have a neuroendocrine tumor. It is a solid, well made pin. The back firmly connects, and doesn't seem that it will fall off. Overall I great product.

I love my Choose Hope Car Magnets. I have to admit that I bought my first ones at the in the gift shop at the Winthrop P Rockefeller Cancer Institute at UAMS Hospital here in Little rock, I had three- Leukemia for my daughter's friend- and Sarcoma and Head and Neck for my own battle. While at the grocery store the other day a young man stopped and asked about my Head and Neck Awareness Magnet. We shared stories and I simply gave him my magnet, knowing that the gift shop where I got mine was out. I went online, found Choose Hope and purchased two more Head and Neck ribbons. I still have one- the other was given away in a similar situation, this last time I was able to mention Choose Hope as the palce I bought it. I love these car magnets, and I love that by just having them on my car I have met other wonderful people and have been able to pass along something special.

I was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer in August, 2018. I started chemo in September, had surgery in November of that year and more chemo treatments. After thirteen rounds of different and same chemo infusion over the last five years, I still have cancerous tumors on my lymph nodes. I am still on chemo treatment with the hope that this one works but my cancer tumors are very stubborn.
