I am a 4x Cancer Survivor!
In 2009, I was feeling a bit off, so after a few doctor visits, they ordered an MRI, which showed a very large brain tumor. They removed it and it was cancerous, stage 3B. After multiple follow up scans, it came back in 2018, again stage 3B. I had surgery, radiation with chemotherapy, then chemo again for another year.
I had a colonoscopy in Dec of 2019 that was diagnosed Colon Cancer, also stage 3B. This was followed by several surgeries and chemotherapy. Then in 2021, they found a spot on my lung, so I had surgery for Lung Cancer, but it was only a stage I.
I continue to have regular scans for each of these. I praise God every day for the miracle of His healing! I am also in the high-risk Breast Care clinic as my mom is a Breast Cancer Survivor. I have always stayed positive as I feel like God will not give me more than I can handle. I am very blessed to be here with my family. My husband and my parents have been my rocks. I also have 2 beautiful girls who have grown up with their mom having cancer. I hope that I have been a great role model for them, to be positive no matter what you are facing and He will get you through it.
