I am 76 years old and have been healthy all my life but was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer August 2018. I had a single mastectomy January 2019 and 30 Radiation treatments. I have been taking Ibrance, Letrozol and Xgeva injections monthly since September 2018. I am not Cancer free, but I am living each day one at a time.
I have no reason to complain because I feel I am blessed to be able to see my Precious “6” grandchildren grow up. About a month ago my husband, of 40 years, was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. He will be starting 20 Radiation treatments at the end of June and will be receiving an injection every three months for the rest of his life. He also feels blessed.
We have no pain, just a bit of “no energy days”. We are positive about our situation and have a strong family and friend support team and the best medical support team, but most of all we know Jesus is in control. ✝️
